Hi, I'm Phaedra.

I'm a mother, wife, daughter, friend, a volunteer.
I am a lover of life.
I am a photographer.


When I reflect on why I am a photographer,
it's because of my love of life.
I love simple, pure, everyday moments.
I love capturing what sometimes can't
ever be seen again.
My children's smiles and expressions,
even their cries.
It is amazing that what starts out as the
photo that didn't "turn out"
sometimes turns out to be the "one"
a few years later.

Why am I called Kindred Spirits Photography?
The dictionary defines Kindred Spirit as
 "a person who shares beliefs, attitudes, feelings, or features with another"
And I do believe we both want to preserve these
precious memories of our lives.

I want to help you preserve those.

I love spending time with families and couples
and capturing their "kindred spirit"
for them, to cherish and
remember.
